sleepy time

I found Aaron "trying" to fall asleep on Brian. It was too cute. He likes to rub this little blanky on hus face--it's his "softie".

This is the life!

He's been taking his binky in and out of his mouth. He's afraid to leave it in too long--he knows he will fall asleep!

Good luck tonight!
Aaron loves to cheer for West Virginia.
I think this is a great way to show team spirit! Thanks again for the cool threads, Uncle Marvin, Aunt Dee Dee, and Shane.

Yay Danny! nice hit--and RBI
I know the video needs a little work--next time I'll get closer. Do you think Danny would mind if I asked the ump if I could film from the field? I'll just explain how important blogging is!

Bye Uncle Jeff and Stacie

My brother, Jeff and his fiance, Stacie were here visiting over the weekend. Stacie attends WVU and she is on Spring Break. We had such a good time. We played games, cooked out, and shopped. I just love my brother. He cooked for us one night---pork loin, peppers and onions, asparagus, and baked potatoes. It was DELISH!!

We were so busy having fun, I forgot to take pictures. We really didn't wear the same thing all weekend!
Check Aaron's eyes--they are looking right at Stacie.
Uncle Jeff is so funny!!

what a flirt!!

Okay...I was taking pictures, but I didn't think Stacie and I should be the only ones to enjoy this awesome display of athletic ability. We watched from the porch with Aaron and cheered on our MEN! Jeff nicknamed himself "Air Farcin"! These three are absolutely nutsos. Check out the victory dances--those are my favorite. Jeff won this game (it was close), but Danny schooled him later in the evening...one pan of lasagna, a salad, and a glass of wine later!
Should I call the NBA or do you want to??

mommy and me

I know, Aunt Darlene, it's "Mommy and I", but this title was more catching. I wanted to be on the blog, so Danny took some pics of me and Aaron. We were going to the book store, Saturday. How do you like that baby's jeans?

Okay, not the best hair picture, but I wanted everyone to know I had jeans on too!! and they're not maternity--they're real jeans!! We can't wait to see everyone over Spring Break!

p.s. Danny got his uniform

lazy saturday

Danny and Aaron settle in for a lazy Saturday morning. The Thumm's had big plans for yard work today.....but it's WAY cold and rainy....aahhhh......too bad!
Happy St. Patty's Day!
I said--I'm not tired yet.
Danny's conked out.
Yawn! I guess I am getting sleepy.

aaron's thumm

I am aware Brian and his family won't appreciate that little play on words, but I thought it was pretty clever! I know, I know it's not pronounced "thumb" it's "TUM"! But I just couldn't help myself
-----just this once---I promise!!
Okay--check this out. The other day, when Danny was home from school, we took Aaron's picture every time he "found" his thumb. Here he is, in his bouncy seat, hanging out while I wash dishes and Danny does homework.
Sometimes, Danny's homework is too taxing and he needs a break.....not a good example!!
Time to lay down..... with his thumb, of course
.......and go to sleep
Yay! Daddy's home from work. What's this you ask?

Now it's bedtime. I kept trying the binky, but you see where it ended up--right? It's hooked to my finger because he kept spitting it at me as if to say, "Could you just cut me a break, Mommy?? just this one time?" How can I say no when he looks so stinkin' cute? What would you do? I know Mamaw and Bub would not say NO to those big blue eyes either!

fun with cool whip

I know what you're thinking--fun with cool whip??
This is a family site--read on.....
These people never feed me! You can tell from my sunken in cheeks and pencil-thin legs. I've resorted to chewing on my hands.
Hey--what's this?
Mmmmmmm! This is pretty good.
I like cool whip!
All gone!

Danny was home from school today.......sick. Whatever! He did have a fever yesterday, though. And the kid has to be fever free for 24 hours. This is Danny's Three Amigos-Heisman Trophy-Pepto Dance.

thumb sucker

That's right. As bad as I hate it. I think Aaron is going to be a thumb sucker. Not without a fight from Mommy, though. I tried and tried today to take his thumb out of his mouth and give him his binky. He would put his tongue to the roof of his mouth so I couldn't get it in and scrunch up his little face like he was in great pain. You'd have thought I had dipped it in swamp water! And if I was sucessful at getting the thing in his mouth, he would promptly spit it on the floor in a defiant, projectile motion. I ask you, "How did this kid get so stubborn??" I'll pause here to let everyone get up off the floor and regain their composure! I see a big fat orthodontic bill in our future.

But doesn't he look soooooo cute doing it?
