Danny's been at his mom's the last couple weeks. He got home yesterday morning. Aaron was so excited to see him--he wouldn't take his eyes off him!

We had a Crazy 8's tournament last night. Danny was trying to get Aaron to sleep while Brian and I played for the winner's bracket--I won that round. But, Brian ultimately won the game. He always wins! whatever!!

Myrtle Beach Pelicans

We all went to a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game when we were on vacation. It was so much fun--right up until the rain started. This is what the weather was like when we got there. The team was out warming up, Danny was at the concession getting a hot dog, we were all laughing and talking--and then the bottom fell out. It rained, no wait, it poured.
I did manage to get some real good pictures during the rain delay--I mean I only had 2 stinkin' hours!!

Here's me with my BFF, Lysa (for those of you who aren't familiar- BFF is best friends forever). I wish so much that we lived closer to each other. I miss her like crazy!

Aaron woke up to see what all the commotion was about. Joel's being Joel and giving him bunny ears. The Pelicans ended up beating the Wart Hogs and the boys got to run the bases after the game--it was a good time had by all!

I'm the one with him all day--feeding him, changing his dirty diapers, and entertaining him!! Oh well! We were so excited he said it! He is so smart. He'll be potty trained and feeding himself in no time! HA HAI keep trying to get him to say, "Mommy" but he just looks at me and laughs--almost like he knows!Today at the grocery store 3 different people stopped me to tell me how cute Aaron was and ask how old he was and on and on. Well, by time the 4th person came over, Aaron knew the drill--he took his binky out of his mouth, flashed her a big cheesy smile, and then put the binky back! Is that not hilarious?? Do babies really know this stuff??

beach vacation

We got home from the beach, yesterday. We had such a good time! Mom and Dad made it safe and sound on Monday. Here's just a few pictures--I have a bunch more--and videos! I'll post them in the next couple days. Aaron loved the beach--he was just crazy about being in the ocean--the bigger the waves, the better.

"Point me in the direction of the beach!"
Mom and Dad missed out on setting everything up---aaahhhhhh---I know they were disappointed. Can you see Eli supervising??

All this fun is tiring.

fun filled fourth

We had so much fun, yesterday, minus the fact that Brian had to work. Danny's friend, Jake, came over and we all went to the pool in the afternoon. Katie and Wyatt joined us, too. I got Aaron this swim toy---he loved it! I think he would stay in the pool all day long if he could---who does that sound like??

In the evening, Brian, Aaron, and I went to Mike and Monica's for a picnic. Danny went home with Jake. Mike, Rose, and their son , Tristen, were also there for the festivities. Do you like my attention to detail with the party-ready binky?

Here's some pictures from our trip to WV. We had so much fun!! Danny got lots of practice in Kelli and Kevin's batting cage. We can't wait for the beach next week.
