Aaron and I went to Nags Head Tuesday and "crashed" Mamaw and Papaw's vacation. Why not?? We're only a couple hours away!
"Are we there yet?"

p.s. This is Aaron's new car seat.
Poor mom and dad -- they did not have good weather. I'd never seen the NO SWIMMIMG flag before--so I took a picture.
Me and dad on the pier. We walked to the end and it was swaying under our feet. The ocean was so rough and the wind was fierce. I wanted to see how cold the water was, so we walked down to the beach and looked around a little. It was FRIGID!! When we got back from lunch they had closed the pier.
This was the closest Aaron got to the beach.
But he did manage to find some water--the indoor pool!
We sure had fun on our little beach get away!

mamaw and papaw's visit

Mamaw and Papaw made it in time ---in record time--- for Danny's game, Saturday!

We came home from the game and chilled for a while.

Time for a little snooze before we eat.
We had so much fun with Mamaw and Papaw this weekend. We love it when they come to visit. Mom and I got to do a little shopping--alone--while the guys hung out and watched football. Aaron got a new car seat!--an early Christmas present from Mamaw and Papaw.
They left, yesterday, on their way to Nags Head for vacation. Have fun at the beach this week!

Mamaw and Papaw are coming tomorrow and Aaron can't wait for them to get here! He's been standing at the door all day! Although, you could make the argument that he is waiting for Danny to get home from school.

Fall Ball officially kicked off Saturday. Danny's starting at Second--he'll probably pitch some, too. Can I just say that I LOVE BASEBALL?? I was busy at the game--I kept the book, picth count, and entertained Aaron. That's why I only have this ONE picture of Danny and no video. He had a sweet bunt down the third base line and got walked his next at bat.

Then we came home and watched WVU put the hurtin' on Marshall--what a great day!

labor day weekend

Brian's parents were here this past weekend. We had a good time. Brian and I got lots of yard work done. We dug up all the shrubs and hostas. I split and re-planted the hostas closer to the house--like a border--it looks really nice. We also took up the landscape timbers. It was nice having Memaw and Pappy there because I didn't have to worry about what Aaron was doing. It was about 4 hours of uninterrupted work! It was fun! for real!

I keep trying to get a good picture of Aaron's teeth. He's got 2 now. This isn't the best picture I have--the other one isn't fit for the blog, though....he has is head thrown back and you can not only see his teeth--but all his boogies, too! Most times when I pull his lip put of the way, he sticks his tongue out and covers up his teeth!
