Happy Halloween!

Aaron was a pirate for his first Halloween!
Here's Danny with Minni Me.

"Danny, did you forget to brush?"

"Ahoy Matey!!" If you look close enough, you can see Aaron's earring.

"Trick or Treat....."

".....smell my feet!"

"ARRRGH!"
Are pirates supposed to have such a sunny disposition?

"my treasure!"
"I love lollipops."
"I have to eat peas on Halloween??"
Aaron and Daddy
"Can we be done already???"

Go Red Sox!

In case there's anyone out there living in a cave--the Red Sox won the World Series last night! WOOHOO!! That makes the 2nd time in 4 years.
I had such a hard time staying awake for the whole thing--the game didn't start till 8:30. Really? By 10:30 I was holding my eyes open with toothpicks! When did I get so old?? I remember when I didn't start getting ready to go "out" till 10:30. I kept falling asleep and then jerking back awake! I still saw the last out and all the celebration stuff--AWESOME!

Here's Danny praying before Game 1.

The Red Sox swept Colorado in 4 games.

I just threw this picture in--Danny put Aaron in his gym bag the other day and carried him around the room--Aaron was cracking up!

aaron and wyatt

This is Aaron's friend, Wyatt. His parents are from WV, too! They are about 9 months apart.
They had a play date, Monday. This was the closest I could get them together without Aaron pulling his hair.
Katie and I took them to the Peanut Festival a couple weeks ago. We thought they would have more rides-- for Wyatt at least. Most of the baby rides, though, you had to wait till later and pay to ride them. So we walked around and ate pizza and french fries! We are so good about compromising!
Katie and Wyatt on the big slide. They're on the left.

double header

Danny had a double header Saturday. We won both games! WOOHOO! These pictures are from the week before's game. I forgot to bring the camera. Sorry! I had to get my chair, the stroller, a blanket, a bag full of enough snacks, drinks, and toys to entertain a 9 month old baby for 4 hours at the ball park, myself, and Aaron. I left the camera on the couch--

Danny getting the out at first.

soccer star

"No pictures, please, Aunt Kerri....I'm getting in the zone!"
When Aaron and I were in WV, we went to one of Eli's soccer games. Jacob and Joel's games were too late in the week and we couldn't stay--but we wanted to! Jacob is playing fall baseball and Joel is playing flag football.
Eli's 2 biggest fans!!
"GO ELI!"
"Girls--the point is to keep the ball OUT of our goal!"
Time for a drink break! Aaron needed one too--he was cheering pretty hard.
Papaw played hookie from work to come check things out.

me and my cousins

First off, I want to take a moment and apologize to all my fans out there! I know it's been a while since my last entry. I know you're all wondering what's going on down here- checking your computers every day -- hoping for a glimpse into our lives-- tee hee hee!
Aaron and I were in WV for a few days. Aaron LOVES to go to WV, especially to see his cousins--Jacob, Joel, and Eli! They are outa control!!
What is it with boys and wrestling? Aaron had a blast beating up on these two. Although, I think they were letting him win.
"Take that!"
"Come on guys--this is almost too easy!"
Joel--always the clown--giving Jacob bunny ears.
"Yikes! A ghost!"
"Jacob, get me outa here--Joel's crazy!"
"I need a drink!" Eli was ready to help.

wedding bells

It's official!! Uncle Phil and Barb have said, "I DO!" That's right--they're married! To quote a line from one of my favorite movies, Top Gun-- "Hearts are breakin' wide open all over the world tonight!" I know all my friends will be just a little disappointed--they think Uncle Phil is such a hottie!
p.s. Phil and Barb got engaged the same Christmas Brian and I did--we'll be married 4 years in April.
Here are the bands of gold to prove it! I'm so excited!
CONGRATULATIONS Uncle Phil and Aunt Barb!
