EXTREME CLOSE-UP!

Can't you just hear him laughing? Aaron was cracking up at Danny the other day while he snapped these photos.
Danny, you're hilarious!
These are the pictures Aaron took of Danny.

Stop! My side hurts!

hi

Did Aaron stick his finger in a light socket?? NO. I've been working on his cradle cap -- or crap -- whatever it's called. I had his scalp all oiled up. I think he's adorable with crazy hair!
This is after his bath-and after Daddy got hold of Aaron's hairbrush.
How 'bout these handsome boys?

Aaron can talk! He says, "hi". I know, he's so advanced. (ha ha) Danny took this video when they were playing on the couch. Danny loves it when he "squeaks".

play date

Aaron had his first play date today. His friend, Wyatt came over after school. I say after school because his Mommy teaches Kindergarten at First Baptist. Wyatt is a big WVU fan, too. His Mommy and Daddy are from West Virginia--Morgantown--small world!
Wheeee! This is fun.
Wake up Aaron!
Hi Danny. Can you show me how this thing works? Your brother is such a party pooper!
Hey Aaron-- Watch this!
.....still sleeping. This is no reflection of present company. I think he's still a little "off" because of his shots yesterday.
We can't wait to take these boys to the pool this summer! I've seen Wyatt swim in the bath tub and he's a pro!

Let's go!! Mountaineers!!

Aaron loves to cheer for the Mountaineers. He can't wait for football season. We were going to the mall with Auntie M (my friend, Monica) and we wanted everyone to know we are NOT Hokie fans or UVA fans or NC State fans. We are West Virginia Mountaineers!! I just couldn't pass up this photo op.
Enough Already. Can we just go?
Maybe if I smile, she'll stop.
uhhh...no...she just gets closer
It's all about attention to detail.

big boy

Aaron is such a big boy! Last night, he slept in his own bed. Danny thought he was too little to stay back there all by himself. But he is just getting too big for the basinet. He slept from 9 pm to 2:30 am and then from 3am to 5:30. I think that's great for his first night.

Here's Daddy. He didn't want to miss anything.
Here's Mommy. What? Where's the baby...where's the monitor?

Go Bees!

This is one of Aaron's favorite songs. It's the East Fairmont High School Fight Song. He cracks up every time I sing it to him. He would've been more vocal in the video, but he had the hiccups. He coos and laughs and tries to sing along. He is so advanced! His other favorite is Jesus Loves Me.
Danny and I took Aaron to get his picture taken, today. We'll be handing them out at Easter. Danny got in a couple shots, too. I'm telling you--these boys are so handsome. They get it from their Dad. Well, they must, because they look just like him.

baseball

It's here-baseball season has officially started. I LOVE IT! I was never a big baseball fan till I met Danny. He has opened my eyes and shown me the light...the stadium lights... in the bottom of the ninth, 2 outs, and Big Papi at the plate trying to make something happen! See, he has not only made me a baseball fan, but a huge Red Sox fan. Danny went to Fenway last summer with his mom and I must admit--I was a little jealous.
I love watching Danny play ball. I don't like it when he is pitching, though--I get too nervous. I try to cheer him on without being too embarrassing. We are all about baseball season. Brian helps coach, I help keep score, and Danny answers all my "dumb girl" questions about the game.
With that being said, Danny's Pony League team this year is the Suffolk Yankees! What are we going to do? This is bad news-terrible-a travesty! Danny not only eats, sleeps, and breathes baseball-he eats, sleeps, and breathes Red Sox baseball. How can we, as die hard Red Sox fans, root for the dark side? the despicable Yankees? The answer is easy--we'll be cheering for Danny! I'll be cheering every week in my Red Sox cap--the one Danny got me for Mother's Day last year.
Danny said he better get his matches ready for the end of the season so he can burn his jersey...that's just Danny being Danny.
Scroll down to see Danny's #1 fan and see what he has to say.

Check the Varitek shirt.

Enough with the pictures already! I'm trying to get in the zone.

What?? Let me get this straight-- the Skankees? Unbelievable!
Are you sure? I can't wrap my head around it!
I better get my binky--I need some consoling.
