answered prayers

This picture has nothing to do with anything--just thought it was cute. Aaron loves to wear other people's shoes. Here he is in Daddy's "boops".
As you all know by now--the Thumms are moving. This is not an easy thing to do this time of year or in the current housing market. HOWEVER, our house is under contract. It was only on the market for 2 days. You heard me--2 days! God is so good to us!
I went to Pa last week to "look" at some houses up there. We are under contract in Pa also! I was so worried about the time of year and all the "stuff"--I finally just pushed it to the back of my mind and every time I did I would say a little prayer and ask God to just take care of it--and He did! I am so blessed!
I had to share just how clean and clutter and baby free my house was-- and still is--kind of!!
the living room

the living room - from another angle
Aaron is wearing Danny's old baseball cleats! whatever!

the kitchen--check out that counter top--not a shred of mail in sight!

our second bedroom--Danny's room
I really like the throw pillow in this one! p.s. it doesn't come with the house!

our third bedroom--Aaron's room

I guess I should've moved the big bin of clothes form under the bed...

the master bedroom--mommy daddy room (that's how Aaron says it)
I changed the bedding. It was red like the curtains and night tables, but I wanted to lighten things up. A little trick I learned from HGTV.

ta da!

So when you come home for Christmas, will you do this to my house? And yes, I want Aaron in all the pictures, too. Can't wait to see you guys, - Love, Mamaw

Yay! We're SO excited too! The house looks amazing in the pics. I love how you fixed everything, maybe you could be a professional stager if you get bored! Oh and I love the pics of Aaron, what a little cutie! Congrats with everything! Can't wait to see you in a week:)

You definitely have the decorator touch. I love all your colors. Just think, now you get to do it in a different house. It will be sooo much fun with Aaron's help:)
